Environmental Management

Sonae Sierra’s environmental approach is based upon the implementation of its Environmental Management System (EMS), certified by the ISO 14001 standard. Our corporate EMS covers all business activities and is applied in all countries where the company operates. It is intended to increase our corporate eco-efficiency and promote the control of the company's most significant impacts, whilst fulfilling the objectives stated in the Environmental Policy.

The Environment Manager is responsible for the establishment of the EMS’ rules, procedures, monitoring schedules and audits to be upheld by all Sonae Sierra employees, especially those who perform critical environment related jobs in each business.
